We are a PADI ( The Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Retail Dive Center....the world's largest scuba diving training organization in the world !
How long does a PADI course take? The required steps to become a certified diver are flexible and performance based. For new divers, an Open Water Diver certification on average takes 3-5 days. However, you can choose different options based on your learning preferences
This class is broken down into three parts : Knowledge Development, Confined Water Training and Open Water Dives.
We consider this part as home classroom studies. It includes all materials required for the class such as lectures and video presentations, quizzes and exam by registering at the corresponding link below. This is payable to PADI when you sign up.
There are 5 sessions in this category that covers all the skills presented in the knowledge development sessions in a clear shallow diving environment. We are so proud to offer you our own on site pool for your training. This makes scheduling a breeze by not having to rent or schedule through another facility.
This section requires 4 open water dives in a REAL diving environment such as a lake, quarry or ocean over a period of two days.
At Adventure Diving we will furnish all scuba gear such as regulator, alternate air source, gauges, buoyancy compensator, tank, weights and air fills through out the class. Students must furnish their personal gear such as mask, open heel fins, snorkel and booties. Some may already have these items but if not we have a large selection in our shop. We try to discourage on-line shopping as to possible ill fitting equipment and inferior quality .
The 2nd step in your continuing education
This course can be taken immediately after Open Water Diver certification. It gives more time diving under a professionals care. Its consists of 5 specialty dives in various environments such as Deep, Navigation, Wreck,Search & Recovery,Night and many more choices.
At this point of your training you should have your own gear. If not a $50/day rental fee will be added.
A highly suggested course for ALL divers !
The PADI® Rescue Diver course will change the way you dive – in the best possible way. Learn to identify and fix minor issues before they become big problems, gain a lot of confidence and have serious fun along the way.
